A lot of our couples opt for assigned seating for their reception. If you’re also thinking about doing assigned seating and need some ideas on how to display your guests' table assignments, then check out some of these seating chart ideas for your wedding reception! Greenery Wall Back in September, we had a couple come to us with the idea of displaying their seating assignments on paint chips. The groom works for Sherwin-Williams and the bride wanted to incorporate that into their wedding. They found paint chips that matched their color scheme, wrote their guests’ names on them, and hung them on our greenery wall. We love how this turned out! Chalkboard Sign We make a lot of chalkboard signs for weddings, and seating charts are no exception! Grab a chalkboard marker from a nearby craft store and write table assignments on a sign! You can find more rustic-looking chalkboards or more modern signs. To match, add mini chalkboard signs to your centerpieces as table numbers. Mirrors If you want a trendier, more modern option, swap the chalkboard sign for a large vintage mirror! Grab one of your stand-alone mirrors, or find one from your local thrift store. It’s as simple as the chalkboard sign. Just grab a chalkboard marker and write all the names down! Plus, if you make a mistake, it’s easy to fix. Just grab a paper towel and voila! You can also opt for printing table assignments on stationary and sticking them on the mirror. Window Panes We have a few old window panes at our venue that are perfect for seating charts. Each pane can fit one or two tables on them (depending on your guest count). A lot of couples hang the panes on our smokehouse bar’s red doors, which is always a great look! The red doors create a nice contrast against the white panes, and they provide a great backdrop that makes it easy to read name assignments. There are tons of ways to get creative with your seating arrangements. Have you seen any other cool ideas? Share them in the comments below! Interested in having your reception at Four Oaks Manor?
