'around the world' party game on place setting
Now that engagement season has slowed down, it’s time to get planning, and not just for the wedding! Being engaged means having other events too, including an engagement party. And it’s not a complete wedding party without some sort of wedding-themed game! We’ve got some fun games (plus printables!) perfect for any engagement party or wedding shower!
Message in a Bottle
Okay, so this first one isn’t technically a game, but it’s a fun activity nonetheless! Have guests write down advice, well wishes, or messages for the couple and drop them in a bottle. The couple can keep the bottle and read the notes after their wedding or on their anniversary and remember all the people who celebrated their relationship with them.

Never Have I Ever
It’s not truly an engagement party if you don’t somehow embarrass the couple, right? Have the pair sit up front and answer questions with signs saying ‘I Have Done That’ or ‘I Have Never Done That' and see which person fesses up more!

Newlywed Game
Also called the ‘honeymoon game’ or the ‘couples quiz’, the newlywed game is a set of questions designed to see if the couple truly knows each other. They both will send in their answers to the questions beforehand. At the party, they’ll try to guess what the other person answered. Whoever has the most questions wins!

Who Am I?
This is like the wedding version of The Office’s “Diversity Day” activity (but much less cringey and uncomfortable without Michael Scott hovering over your shoulders). Party guests will draw a random card with a famous couple on it and put it on their heads. Guests will take turns asking questions about their couple to try and guess who they have.
