Spring (or love) is in the air! As a garden venue, we naturally love spring. How could we not?! Trees and plants start blooming. The sun warms the air. Butterflies reappear. Plus, it’s the start of a new wedding season! If you are deliberating on what time of the year to get married, then here are some reasons why you should consider getting married next spring at Four Oaks! The Garden Is in Full Bloom A wedding marks the start of a new and beautiful relationship, like the first bud of a bloom. Spring is a wonderful symbol of this new start! And as a garden venue, our space might just look its best in spring. Whether it’s our cherry blossom tree over the reception area, azaleas scattered throughout the garden, or the multitude of other plants, there is so much beauty to behold! Beautiful Color Palettes No, this doesn’t mean your wedding has to be pastels or pink. Florals come in all sorts of colors and shades, which means you aren’t stuck in a stereotype! Go for shades of blue. Let an array of greenery be your inspiration. Pick your favorite flower and go from there. Or, if you’re unsure where to start, ask your florist what blooms are in season during the spring, and consider using those as a starting point for your colors. What’s more, Four Oaks offers an array of decor you can use to tie in whatever colors you’d like! With a wide selection of table runners, napkins, centerpieces, and more, we can seamlessly tie in your vision. And let’s not forget about china! We have tans and neutrals, golds ands silver, blues, various hues of pink, and so much more. Spring Dinner Menu Since our venue has exclusive, in-house catering, we have developed a robust menu that caters to your liking. Spring is all about freshness and brightness, and we recommend choosing a menu to reflect this. For example, if you’re opting for our salmon package, consider choosing our Lemon Dill Salmon, which is tangier and lighter than our Maple Bourbon Salmon. We have a Lemon Herb Gremolata Chicken Thigh or a Mango Pineapple Salsa Chicken, which are great lighter entrees. Sides could include our Four Oaks Salad, which features crisp apples and candied pecans; an Oven Roasted Vegetable Medley with fresh squash, zucchini, and other garden favorites; or our always-beloved Parmesan-Encrusted Asparagus. Stunning Photo Opportunities We’d be remiss if we didn’t show off some of the countless spots around the venue in which you can take photos. Whether it is for your first look, portraits, or wedding party photos, there are opportunities everywhere! See if your photographer can scope out some fun locations prior to starting photos. If we haven’t convinced you yet, then you may just have to come see it for yourself!
