Add a few fun games to your party! While some bridal shower activities can seem cheesy, these games and activities are great additions to help your guests break the ice, meet each other, and get them laughing! Games
1. Vow Mad Libs Few things are as ridiculous as mad libs. For this bridal shower game, take out words from traditional vows and replace them with blanks. Have each guest say a word that fits with the blanks. At the end, you’ll have a hilarious set of vows for the bride-to-be to read out loud. You can also create mad libs for how the couple met, the story of their first date, and any other fun story relating to the couple! 2. Put a Ring on It This is a great game that will last through the entire party. At the start of the shower, each guest receives a plastic ring to wear. Throughout the shower, if a guest is caught saying “bride,” they have to give their ring to the person who caught them. Whoever has the most rings at the end of the shower receives a prize! 3. Name that Tune Have the bride-to-be put a playlist together of her favorite love songs. Have the guests try to guess the artist and title of each song. Whoever gets the most songs correct wins! 4. Wedding Catch Phrase This game is just like regular Catch Phrase except all the words are wedding related. Divide the guests into two teams and have fun playing this fast-paced game! 5. Wedding Hashtags Have each guest write down wedding hashtag ideas on slips of paper. Gather all the papers together and have everyone vote for their favorite. The person whose hashtag got the most votes wins a prize! And maybe the bride and groom will use it for their wedding day, giving the winner the added bonus of bragging rights. Activities 6. Date Night Ideas Have guests write down their favorite date night ideas and put them in a jar. Whenever the couple is short on what to do for a date night, they can pull out a random idea from the jar. 7. Recipe Cards Before the shower, tell each guest to bring their favorite recipe on a card. The recipes can be meals for two, desserts, or whatever your heart desires! Compile all the recipe cards together in a cute recipe book or box for the new couple. 8. Selfie Station What’s a bridal shower if no one takes any photos? Set up a cute “selfie station” for everyone to get pictures with the bride and other guests. Add some fun wedding-themed props to make the photo booth even more fun!
