DIY Bridal Shower Decor with bunch of wildflowers against white table
Looking for a unique, floral, boho-inspired backdrop for your friend’s bridal shower? We’ve got you covered with this easy DIY bridal shower decor, perfect for photo backdrops, mimosa bar decoration, and more!
What you’ll need:
  • Flowers (I used wildflowers that I found behind my house, but you can use whatever flowers you can find or any type you’d want to buy!)
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Tissue pom poms
  • Tape/push pins (Use whatever adhesive that works for your desired background. Since I used a brick wall, push pins didn't work so I used clear shipping tape.)
  • Backdrop (optional)

Step 1: Gather your flowers and make small bunches. Tie with twine.

Step 2: Divide flower bundles into 5 groups. Cut 5 long pieces of twine which you’ll use to hang flowers from the wall.

Step 3: Attach the flower bundles to long twine pieces using the twine around the bundle.

Step 4: Hang the long twine pieces on the wall and attach using strong tape or push pins, depending on the surface you’re attaching it to. My wall was brick, so I used strong shipping tape so it would stay up.
*If you’re using a backdrop such as fabric or brown paper, make sure to attach or hang the backdrop where you want it, and then hang the long twine from it.
Step 5: Poof out the tissue pom poms and attach them to the top corners of your wall space.

Step 6: Line ribbon across the top to hide tape/push pins holding the long floral arrangements. Adjust amount and look as needed.

Step 7: Trim any excess twine to tidy up the look.
