Leslie Knope fans know that before Valentine’s comes Galentine’s, a day to celebrate friendships with your gals. Whether you’re single, taken, or “it’s complicated,” we can all celebrate girl power together. If you’re throwing a party for your girl friends, then check out our Galentine’s party decor inspiration!
To add some height, we placed pale pink taper candles in small glass vases between place settings. We also added a simple, tall floral arrangement to the center of the table.
FOM Tip: Play around with how you arrange the napkin. Hang it under the plate for an elegant look, or tie it at the top to add a fun twist. For glasses, we used these pink glasses from the Pioneer Woman. Even though these glasses are actually pink, they tend to reflect their surroundings. Since we used the purple napkins and other colors, the glasses take on a nice purple hue, deepening the overall look. We love scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration (who doesn’t?). The other day, we stumbled upon this idea incorporating cotton candy into a centerpiece. Who said cotton candy had to just be for eating? We fluffed up some cotton candy and scattered it throughout the entire middle section of the table. We also picked up some Valentine’s M&Ms and scattered those around the greenery as well. We decided to also play around with other colors, so we switched out the purple napkins for these burgundy napkins. Half the fun of putting together tablescapes is pulling whatever you have and playing around with colors, textures, and more! The burgundy offers more red tones and achieves a completely different look. Lastly, it’s not a real party if there are no snacks involved, am I right? We are obsessed with charcuterie boards right now (or 'charcutes' as one of our brides says!). We decided to switch up the normal cheese, meats, and crackers for a sweeter display. We put together an assortment of sweet treats and snacks, displaying them on one of our round charcuterie boards. We pulled out these adorable heart-shaped bowls to hold some of the smaller snacks, and also added some extra baby’s breath we had on hand to give the whole board a more whimsical feel.
