We all love to save money whether it is at the grocery store, department store, or shoe store. However it is much better to save money on something that typically costs couples thousands and thousands of dollars. In today’s society it is difficult to have a nice wedding without paying an arm and a leg. Today we are going to give you several helpful tips on how to save money overall on your wedding expenses. 1. Don’t have a large wedding This is the number one thing you can do to save money. Large weddings result in more tables, linens, centerpieces, and the most expensive….food. Food is usually what can rack up your reception bill. If you have less people your food cost will go down. I know the idea of a large fairy tale wedding is maybe what you always wanted, but trust me if you have a large wedding you will end up sacrificing more of your fairy tale dream to compensate for the extra cost of people. Keep it simple with the most important people and that is one way you will for sure save yourself money. 2. Find an all-inclusive wedding venue Finding a venue that has everything in a nice neat packaged deal will save you money. It may look like more cost because everything is included, but it will be cheaper in the long run. By renting a venue that has nothing included besides the actual space, you end up paying more to find all of these outside vendors. Usually when all-inclusive venues have relationships with outside vendors they are able to offer those vendors at a discount because they have a partnership. Take advantage of that. 3. Book a venue in the off season Most of the time you can get a cheaper price for your wedding if you book your venue during an off season. Also you can book on a less expensive day. Some venues will charge less for a mid-week, Friday or Sunday wedding. For Four Oaks Manor, it is cheaper if you don't book a Saturday. Take advantage of that as well. 4.
