What should we do for our wedding favors? This is one of the most commonly asked questions I get in my planning meetings with my brides. It is difficult to decide what wedding favor to do. You want something that is inexpensive, cute, but also useful. The last thing you want to do is spend money on favors that no one wants or can use. Below are several options that are useful, but will also save you money in the end. 1. Reusable Glasses What a great idea! Not only is this a useful gift, but it also saves you money. This one in particular is a creative idea because it is used for favors, assigned seating, and also glassware for the wedding. The best way to save money on favors is use them for multiple purposes. This is also a great idea because your guests can use them for years to come. It is useful, eco-friendly, and cute all in one package. 2. Customized Snack/Treat Bags This is another inexpensive wedding favor that everyone will love. You can find these bags on etsy or you can make them yourself! The best part is you can do whatever you want with these bags. You could get cookies and fill them beforehand, have a snack bar and allow your guests to fill up their own bags, or put little goodies in it yourself. There are plenty of useful things you can do with these bags that are inexpensive and delicious. The good thing about giving treats or snacks as a favor is you know they will be eaten and not go to waste. The hardest part is deciding how much of them to make. Make sure you don’t go overboard on how many you make if you plan on prepackaging them prior to your wedding. 3. Togo Cake Boxes If you are having a wedding cake then this is a great idea for favors. There is always too much cake leftover at weddings. Providing cake boxes is a great way to make sure you don’t end up wasting most of your cake. The only hard part about this idea is you want to make sure you do have enough cake that guests will be able to take home. However, you can design the boxes yourself, save money, and provide a cute way of making sure your wedding cake does not go to waste. 4. Mint to be! Mint to be! We have seen this before, but it is a very inexpensive and useful favor that is cute and creative. Everyone likes mints and they are perfect for a little freshener for your guests during the reception and can also be used as a wedding favor. This could be a good idea if want something little but nice that you can make yourself. 5. Sunglasses What could be better for a summer wedding favor than a pair of sunglasses? These type of sunglasses tend to be inexpensive, but also very useful. You honestly cannot have too many pairs of sunglasses so this is something your guests will love. 6. Tiny Jars of Jam/butter These are just the cutest things. This is a personal favorite of mine that we have seen often at Four Oaks Manor. They are relatively inexpensive, especially if you make the jam/butter yourself (just make sure you package it correctly), and they are perfect for a summer wedding. They are incredibly useful because everyone likes toast with jam/butter or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every now and again. Also this is the perfect one serving size that you know won’t go to waste, but will thoroughly be enjoyed. What more could you ask for in a wedding favor? Another fun idea that's useful and affordable (and makes the favors table smell amazing) are handcrafted SOAPS. For someone getting married at Four Oaks Manor, Wit and Bubbles LLC is a local Buford woman-owned small business and offers custom labels and free venue delivery. Local couples get a free gift box too. AND 10% goes to Atlanta Mission. May the suds be ever in your favors. 😂🥳🙌🏻
